PLAY TO WIN!! is an energetic concert opener that depicts the competitive spirit, taking the listener through the resolve, energy, humility, self-reflection, and triumph of competition - in sports, academics, arts, or video games (a medium whose intense music also serves as the core inspiration for this work).

A special thanks to Naren Krishnan, who double checked my work and made sure this work did not get disqualified at TSA, and my band director Jonathan Schiffler for giving me the opportunity to premier this piece with the Freedom High School Artist Wind Ensemble.
